A stunning and unusual early Victorian English walnut decanter box with ebony stringing, the lid with a vacant brass plaque, with sunken brass handles. The lid with a brass hinge and the plush lined interior with four divisions and fitted with four coloured glass bottles, with silver grapevine mounts and stoppers, each with a silver vine leaf wine label, ‘RUM’ ‘WHISKEY’ ‘BRANDY’ and ‘GIN’, by Charley Reiley and George Stoner, London 1840.
