A handsome and robust George III mahogany tilt top reading table fitted with an original pair of candle stands. The rectangular top is fitted with an adjustable ratchet support, flanked by twin pivotal pull-out candle slides, raised on a ring turned column pedestal terminating in splayed support tripod base with brass castors.
The base rail for retaining books has been removed from this piece but could have a new one fitted if required.
