Nineteenth Century Decanter Box
A nineteenth century (circa 1850) mahogany decanter box with six original gilt decorated glass decanters with original mushroom shaped stoppers.
The box has a domed front and is veneered in a very good flamed mahogany with a pair of metal knob handles on the lid and a key. It as 6 compartments to take the decanters, and is lined with dark green velvet. The lid holds two glasses for tasting.
The six decanters are square with rounded shoulders that are gilt decorated.

Finish: One of the decanter stoppers is chipped to the rim. The neck of one decanter is chipped. Generally this is in very good condition for its age.
